This evening’s Cabinet meeting confirms my appointment to the Board of the National Agency for Drug Control, representing Centre de Solidarité (CDS). It is a formal responsibility and one I carry on behalf of an institution that has been working in this field for nearly four decades.

This appointment is not just about the past three years. It reflects what CDS has stood for since the beginning: a grounded, consistent commitment to long-term recovery, reintegration, and care that was held with structure, not sentiment.

We have spent the last few years strengthening that structure, aligning internally, and holding our standards in place. That work does not always show but it makes moments like this possible.

This appointment does not change the work, it simply extends it.
And it allows us to bring what we have built at CDS into a space where it can inform decisions, systems, and direction.

Thank you for this recognition.
We continue.
