The First Contact & Listening Line is where support begins – quietly, without pressure. It is a confidential space where individuals can speak with a trained member of our team.
During this first exchange, we take the time to understand each person’s story:
- A short personal history – where they are now and what brought them here.
- An overview of their social, medical, and family situation.
- Any immediate needs or questions they may have.
We provide clear information about CDS and its services. Together, we look at the next steps exploring options and allowing the individual to decide, at their own pace, how they would like to move forward.
