Christine Moutou-Acis is the Unit Lead of the Family Therapy Unit at CDS, where she coordinates support services for the loved ones of individuals in recovery. With warmth, clarity, and a deep respect for the family’s role in healing, Christine leads a team of dedicated volunteers, often supporting over 50 family members at a time through counselling, education, and systemic care.
Christine began her journey at CDS as a Therapeutic Community Facilitator. Her strong team spirit, passion for mental health, and commitment to continuous learning quickly stood out. Her natural empathy and collaborative approach made her a key figure in the transition toward more structured family support within the TC framework.
She brings a rich background of professional experience across several NGOs, giving her both grassroots knowledge and an understanding of systemic care needs. Christine holds a Diploma in Educational Psychology and a Diploma in Management and Leadership and continuously strengthens her skills through specialised training.
Most recently, she completed two key certifications through ANFEN:
- Formation 1: Prise en charge psychosociale de l’enfant autour de l’approche systémique familiale
- Formation 2: Prise en charge psychosociale de l’enfant autour de la théorie de l’Attachement
These trainings further equip her to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to families and children, ensuring their voices are heard and their roles supported throughout the recovery process.
Christine is admired not only for her knowledge but also for her integrity, humility, and genuine belief in healing as a collective journey.
