Rosellio Bontende joined CDS as a Therapeutic Community Facilitator, and quickly stood out for his curiosity, innovative mindset, and strong team spirit. His out-of-the-box thinking, commitment to the TC model, and natural ability to connect with residents and colleagues alike led to his progression into the role of Unit Lead of the Residential Therapeutic Community.
With a background as a caregiver at Terre de Paix, Rosellio has long been drawn to community empowerment and the betterment of society. His work has always been guided by a deep sense of purpose and a belief in human dignity and growth.
At CDS, he has continued to grow both personally and professionally, driven by a strong passion to learn and a desire to make a meaningful difference. Rosellio has benefitted from extensive in-house training under the CDS Human Resource Development Plan, acquiring both technical tools and leadership skills that now inform his daily practice.
Rosellio leads with empathy and intention, maintaining the structure and integrity of the Residential TC while constantly seeking ways to enhance the experience and effectiveness of the therapeutic environment. His approach balances consistency with innovation, and he remains committed to helping each resident rediscover their sense of self, purpose, and belonging.
